It’s been around a month since my last artwork but I’m back! Was finally able to finish this MIA fanart with a newer and faster computer to replace the old one. I have to say, having a faster computer did wonders for my workflow. For this fanartI decided to take my art to the next level by removing my lines to make it look more refined. It takes a heck of a lot longer to paint it bit by bit but the results turned out to be great!

Made in Abyss, a great anime for those who are interested, also a chock full of horrifying moments. Next time I’ll be working on a Kirby’s Dreamland 3 fanart in almost the same style or method.

Recently the Mac that I’m using for drawing has its age catching up with it and isn’t able to last five seconds on photoshop without lagging itself into the ground. So I’m going to want to look into building my own pc it so that I can keep drawing productively and doing other leisurely activities I enjoy on the computer! I’ll probably update with just traditionals until I get it replaced.

It’s the original Kirby 64 crew taking a nap!

Boy this was crazy, really tried to push myself on this one! Was a difficult drawing because of all of the shadows going on in this drawing, but overall I think I did alright. I’m sure that I still might have missed a mistake or inaccuracy though somewhere in here, but at least I did have fun on this! Can also consider this a birthday gift for my sister.

Also, Kirby Star Allies coming in at least a week, hope Adeleine gets in in a future update!

asdlfnasdlndsbk This took longer than expected. So another redraw of Alex! Like the third one within three months. With some effective design evolution at least. Even though I have more ocs than Alex or Lillian, I have to say I’m pretty attached to them. So I guess they’re both mascots for this blog.

For this drawing I tried out some new (painfully improvised) techniques for shading the clothing, and it’s an alright alternative to doing folds, though nothing too amazing. I’ll be trying out some more fanart in the future as well! Maybe Kirby. Most likely Kirby.

So around two months in since starting this tumblr blog I feel my art has been getting better. Not yet at the quality I want to see myself, but slowly getting there. My time management is still trash though, so I’ll work on putting more hours everyday.
